Yousuf Ayub Khan


Yousuf Ayub Khan (born 1961) is a Pakistani politician and businessman.[1] He is a grandson of former military dictator and president General Ayub Khan.

Yousuf Ayub was born in village Rehana in Haripur District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. His father was Mr Shaukat Ayub, son of late Ayub Khan and brother of politician Gohar Ayub Khan . He is a Hindkowan of the Tarin tribe.[2]

He won several elections in the past and also remained a provincial minister, but in 2013 he was disqualified by a court, due to presenting a fake degree as a qualification.[3] Allegations of corruption in awarding government tenders have also been leveled against him in the press.[4]

Khan has changed parties several times and is at this moment a member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf .
