You Call It Passion (Hangul: 열정 같은 소리 하고 있네; RR: Yeoljeong Gateun Sori Hago Itne) is a South Korean comedy film based on the novel by Lee Hye-rin about a new graduate who struggles to survive in the war of entertainment news.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
Plot
Do Ra-hee (Park Bo-young) is ready for the real world. She has graduated from a respectable college and begins to apply for full-time jobs but is rejected by every company that she applies to. When all hope is lost, she gets a phone call from a newspaper company and is recruited as an intern in the entertainment section, She soon discovers the dirty and hidden aspects of the journalism industry and learns the passion & enthusiasm of the press. She has to make non-existing news by corroborating stories. Her latest assignment is to trap an upcoming young actor for a film studio. Even though she hesitates, her boss posts a scandal for this. Later the same scandal is rebutted by the intern with the help of her resigned mentor. The actor thanks her for this. She becomes an official journalist at Dongming Sports Daily. She writes a novel about her experiences, and the boss gets angry at her, for mentioning him. [9]
