Yashnobod (former Hamza) is one of 11 districts (tuman) of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
Overview
The district was established in 1968 with name Khamza district.[2] It is an eastern district.[3] and borders with the tuman of Mirzo Ulugbek, Yunusabad, Mirobod and Bektemir. It borders also with Tashkent Province.
In the end of August 2014 district was renamed to Yashnobod.
