Xou da Xuxa is the second studio album by singer, TV presenter and actress Xuxa Meneghel. It was released on June 30, 1986, along with her program on Globo, the LP was sales record with more than 2.5 million copies, becoming the best-selling album in Brazil and South America.[1]

Release and reception

First album released by Som Livre, the Xou da Xuxa hit stores in July 1986, at the height of the Plano Cruzado, and sold 2,689,000 copies - surpassing all records released in Brazil that year, the "phenomenon" RPM with Rádio Pirata ao Vivo the king Roberto Carlos, becoming the largest seller in the country drives.[2][3]
