Xanthoparmelia mougeotii is a genus of lichen belonging to the family Parmeliaceae. The species have flat yellowish-grey lobes that are closely adpressed. The lower surface is black and have short, simple rhizines. When solaria enters, the centre becomes darker. The apothecia is rare, with brown discs, and sorediated margins.[2]
