Wouter Janssen is part of the Dutch electronic dance music act Showtek, together with his younger brother Sjoerd Janssen.

Wouter Jansen and his brother began producing music in 2001. Although they started off with techno, they eventually made a name for themselves as hardstyle and house producers.[1] Showtek gained popularity through hits like "Cannonball", "Booyah" and "Bad", a collaboration with international DJ David Guetta.[2] In 2012 Showtek began the project Crazy Collabs, in which they collaborated with producers from other genres in dance music such as Tiësto, Hardwell, Justin Prime, Bassjackers, Ookay, MAKJ and Noisecontrollers. Wouter was also involved in the writing and arrangement of songs by artists like Tiësto, Marcel Woods, Carly Rae Jepsen and Chris Brown, for which he produced "Nobody's Perfect".

In 2014, Wouter and his brother Sjoerd Janssen founded their own label "SKINK".[3] SKINK has released music of artists like Showtek, Eva Shaw, Quintino, twoloud and Bassjackers. He is also a co-owner of bookings- and management-agency 2-Dutch.
