The World Youth Organization (WYO)[2][3][4][5] is a nonprofit organization for youth welfare primarily concerned on youth affairs and aims to promote awareness among youngsters the importance of their participation in the progress of every nation.[6][7][8]

History

The organization was founded by Subi in India on 1 March 2012 with the aim to unite young people for good social causes.[9][10] The World Youth Organization was established with the ideology of unity and friendship. The mission of WYO is to unite the youngsters around the World.[11]

Protests

In 2015, the World Youth Organization in Tamil Nadu on 16 January 2015 in Chennai protested against the stay on ban on conducting Jallikattu (a bull-vaulting event). WYO also demanded a ban on PETA in India.[12][13][14]
