Woodstock High School is a high school located in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada. Woodstock High receives new students primarily from Woodstock Middle School, also in Woodstock.

Hockey Teams

Woodstock High's Lady Thunder Hockey team was awarded the New Brunswick Human Rights Award, and the Grace Under Pressure Award.[1]

Woodstock High's Varsity Men's Hockey team have an established history, with multiple provincial championships and awards. The team was a dominant force in the late 1980s through to the early 2000s. The team fell into a slumping way in the mid-2000s before returning to form and challenging for league titles in recent years.

Basketball Teams

Woodstock High's Thunder and Lady Thunder basketball teams are well known in high school sports across the province of New Brunswick. They have been extremely successful in their respected leagues with numerous provincial championships and university players to come out of the program. The Thunder are known for playing fast-paced disciplined basketball and for having one of the liveliest crowds in the province.

Fine Arts

Woodstock High also excels in the fine arts, with strong: music, theatre, and graphic arts programs. The WHS Choir is a Provincial Championship choir and National Championship finalist, the choir is non-audition and is open to any student who is interested in performing. The choir has also won numerous awards in local festivals and the Atlantic Band Festival. The WHS Musical, Improv Team, and Dramafest Production are known to be high quality theatre productions. The WHS musical has put on countless sold-out productions and is anticipated in the community annually. The Improv team is a former Provincial Champion and National Championship finalist, and is consistently in the provincial finals. The WHS Graphic Arts department is known for their high-quality pieces and for their extensive use of linking art to other subjects.
