Wolf CMS is a content management system and is Free Software published under the GNU General Public License v3. Wolf CMS is written in the PHP programming language. Wolf CMS is a fork of Frog CMS.

The project was a finalist[2][3] in the 2010 Packt Publishing's Open Source awards for the "Most Promising Open Source Project" category.

As of the 28th of December 2010, the Wolf CMS code repository was moved from Google Code to GitHub.[4][5]

Core plugins

Wolf CMS can be extended through its plug-in system.[6] A few of them, called core plugins, are available with the default installation.

Requirements

Wolf CMS requires[7] a webserver with PHP Version 5.3 or greater (with PDO support). MySQL 5 or greater, SQLite 3 or PostgreSQL 8.4.5. Wolf CMS assumes you use the Apache HTTP Server by default but is also known[8] to run on these HTTP servers as well:
