"Woke Up in Love" is a song written by J.P. Pennington, and recorded by American country music group Exile. It was released in November 1983 as the second single from the album Exile. "Woke Up in Love" was Exile's second country hit and the first of ten number one singles on the country chart. The single went to number one for one week and spent a total of twelve weeks on the country chart.[1]
