Witowo [viˈtɔvɔ] (German: Ittowen; 1927-1945: Gittau) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Jedwabno, within Szczytno County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north-east of Jedwabno, 13 km (8 mi) west of Szczytno, and 31 km (19 mi) south-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
