Willie Russell

William Fraser "Willie" Russell[1] (born 6 December 1901 in Falkirk)[2] was a Scottish professional footballer.
Russell scored both goals for Airdrie when they won the 1924 Scottish Cup Final, against Hibernian. He formed part of a potent Airdrie front three along with Hughie Gallacher and Bob McPhail that also finished second that season in Scotland's top division. Russell represented Scotland twice and the Scottish League twice.[1][3]
