William Sutherland, 17th Earl of Sutherland

William Sutherland, 17th Earl of Sutherland (1708–1750) was a Scottish nobleman.

He supported the government side in the 1745 Jacobite rising, although some in the government were unhappy about the strength of his support. However some clan members who he raised fought for the government at the Battle of Littleferry.
