Biography

William Healy was born in June 10, 1999 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to actor Christopher Healy. William has worked hard over the last two years to actually get an acting gig that pays. After doing his acting training with his dad Christopher Healy, William got an agent, but that was just the start. Then over the next two years of going to auditions and doing acting stunt camps, William Healy started training as an actor in his father’s Acting for Camera courses just over a year ago. Since then, he has rocketed to getting one of the biggest agents in North America, Butler Ruston Bell, and has done dozens of auditions. William got his first gig with the TV series Warehouse 13 and has earned over six hundred dollars in commercial callbacks over the summer alone.

“William has been to about 70 auditions in two years, and he has had about 40 call-backs. He was called back five times as the voice for the Arthur cartoon series but he didn't get the role. I have kept him training and focused because I know what it takes to work in this business, it takes consistent training, consistent auditioning, facing consistent rejection and then consistently going back in again and again because you believe in you”. When Williams Franklin audition came, William was ready. He did the first audition and a week later he got the call-back. They sent him a script, three songs he had to memorize, and a video he had to practice trying to sync his voice to the cartoon of Franklin as you would in the actual recording studio. William also has training in cartoon character voices and just recently auditioned for the lead character of Arthur in the Arthur cartoon series. After the audition it was time to forget about it and get back to real life of school, homework and Martial Arts. About three weeks had passed and William was feeling that he missed another opportunity but then the call came. They said that the producers and director loved his work and wanted him as the new Franklin! William was so happy for a few days and then he realized, now its become real. In a few weeks he will be in recording studio providing the voice for the world famous Franklin.William continues his actor training and attended the Stunt training camp. He is a red belt in Taekwondo with gold medals in competition. He intends to use his Martial Arts skills for future films.
