William C. "Bill" Davis (born c. 1938) is an American football coach in the United States. He was later director of player personnel for the Cleveland Browns.[2]
Coaching career
Davis was the head college football coach for the Adrian Bulldogs located in Adrian, Michigan. He held that position for 6 seasons, from 1968 until 1973. His coaching record at Adrian was 21 wins and 32 losses. As of the conclusion of the 2010 season, this ranks him #5 at Adrian in total wins and #11 at the school in winning percentage (.396).[3]
