Wiesbaden-Schierstein station is a railway station in the borough of Schierstein in the Hessian state capital of Wiesbaden on the East Rhine Railway from Wiesbaden to Cologne. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 6 station.[1] The station is served by the VIAS trains (RheingauLinie) only. The station was opened in 1856.
Services
Schierstein lies in the area served by the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (Rhine-Main Transport Association, RMV). It is used by StadtExpress trains operated by VIAS and buses.
Trains
Services on StadtExpress operate at hourly intervals on the Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof–Koblenz Hauptbahnhof route. In the rush hour the service will extend to a half hourly interval.
