The Whitsunday Times is a weekly newspaper covering the Whitsunday Shire in North Queensland, Australia.
Its circulation area includes Airlie Beach, Cannonvale, Proserpine, Jubilee Pocket, Shute Harbour, Mount Julian, Conway, Dingo Beach, Hydeaway Bay, Midge Point, Hamilton Island, Hayman Island, Daydream Island, Hook Island, South Molle Island, Long Island and surrounding areas.
It is currently published every Thursday, and an average of 7,342 copies [1] are distributed, sold or home delivered across the Shire.
It is printed by Mackay Printing and Publishing, part of APN News & Media.
It was founded in 1981 under the Airlie and Island News masthead.[2][3]
