West Forsyth High School is a public high school, located in Cumming, Georgia, a suburb northeast of Atlanta, Georgia. The school opened in 2008 and is located at 4155 Drew Road, Cumming GA 30040.[2][3] It is 1 of 5 high schools in the Forsyth County School District, and serves students residing in Cumming, Georgia. Its school district comprises the South-West of Forsyth County.

Athletics and Clubs

West Forsyth currently competes in the GHSA Region 6-AAAAAA [4] in all sports, except for Lacrosse, where it competes in Area 3 AAAAAA.[5] and has since 2010.

WFHS has 12 varsity sports teams: competition cheerleading, cross country, football, football cheerleading, softball, volleyball, men's volleyball, basketball, basketball cheerleading, swimming, wrestling, baseball, golf, ultimate frisbee, lacrosse, equestrian[6] soccer, tennis, track and field, and a marching band. West Forsyth also has a Region 6-AAAAA competing theatre troupe. The school has a well renowned AP program offering over 20 AP courses.
