Weeds Point is an unincorporated community in Yuba County, California. It is located 2 miles (3.2 km) south of Camptonville,[2] at an elevation of 2917 feet (889 m).
The name is in honor of a miner who abandoned his claim in 1853, twelve years before mining became profitable here.[2]
