The Washington University in St. Louis Bears football team represents Washington University in St. Louis in collegiate level football. The team competes in NCAA Division III as an affiliate member of the Southern Athletic Association. However, in 2015 the Bears announced they would be leaving the SAA in 2018 to become an affiliate football member of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin.[2] They were previously a member of the Missouri Valley Conference.[3]
