Washington Poyet

This name uses Spanish naming customs: the first or paternal family name is Poyet and the second or maternal family name is Carreras.

Washington Augusto Poyet Carreras (12 January 1939 – 16 June 2007) was an Uruguayan basketball player who competed in the 1960 Summer Olympics and in the 1964 Summer Olympics.[1] He was the father of footballer Gus Poyet,[2] and the grandfather of Diego Poyet.
