The X17 is a bus service serving Coventry and Warwickshire in the United Kingdom. It links the city of Coventry in the West Midlands with south and mid Warwickshire. It serves Coventry, Gibbet Hill, Kenilworth, Leamington Spa, Warwick Hospital, Warwick, with some journeys extending to Stratford-upon-Avon at peak times. It allows passengers from Kenilworth, Leamington Spa, Warwick and Stratford to avoid travelling through the University of Warwick as this service bypasses it. However the last journey from Leamington Spa in the evening terminates at the University[1] .

It parallels service 16 for its route as far as Kenilworth, except route 16 goes via the University of Warwick, and onto Stratford-upon-Avon via Warwick, avoiding Leamington Spa. However service 16A serves Leamington instead of Coventry before entering Warwick and heading into Stratford-upon-Avon during early morning hours, also only running on week days. In 2010, the route was altered in order to coincide with the introduction of the new X15/X18 limited stop services between Leamington and Coventry. This included extensions to Chase Meadow, Hampton Magna and Warwick Parkway railway station. In 2013, a new service X19 was introduced, serving a similar route to the X17 service.

The service only operates Monday to Saturday, with the Sunday service operating as a unibus, as service U17 which terminates at Sydenham via Leamington Spa, with onward connections available at Leamington to get to Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon. Evening services tend to terminate at Leamington Spa, and are not usually operated with low floor buses.
