Warwick (Milverton) railway station

Site of Milverton Station today

Warwick (Milverton) railway station was a railway station in Warwickshire on the former LNWR route between Leamington Spa and Coventry. The station opened in 1844 under the name of 'Leamington' and was the original terminus of the then single line from Coventry. In 1851 the line was extended through to Rugby and in 1854 a new station was opened called Leamington Spa Avenue, directly alongside Leamington's GWR station (which is still in operation).[1][2]

The station was closed as a part of the Beeching closures in 1965, although the line remained and remains open.
