Wanq'uni (Aymara wanq'u guinea pig,[3] -ni a suffix to indicate ownership, "the one with guinea pigs", hispanicized spelling Huancune) is a volcano[1] in the Barroso mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 5,567 metres (18,264 ft) high. It is situated in the Tacna Region, Tacna Province, Palca District, southeast of Jach'a Qullu and north of the Chupikiña volcano.[4]
