In the summer theater season of 2006–2007 she was vedette in the revue King Corona of Jorge Corona, however, after two months, left the revue for alleged abuse of the comedian and his wife. In 2007 she signed a contract with Showmatch's Patinando por un Sueño, later in 2009 Wanda participated in El Musical de tus Sueños and in 2011 in Patinando 2011, a contest she left to go to Italy with her husband and because of her pregnancy.

Personal life

She was previous married to former Sampdoria footballer Maxi López, with whom she had three children. Nara and López divorced after Nara accused López of cheating on her. She returned to Buenos Aires and began relationship with Mauro Icardi, now with Internazionale, who fell secretly in love with her as the wife and mother he knew during his friendship with Lopez. During the April 2014 Serie A match between Sampdoria and Inter, López notably refused to shake Icardi's hand, leading the press to dub the game "Wanda derby".[1]

Nara and Icardi subsequently married on 27 May 2014, not long after the divorce was finalised, at a small ceremony in Buenos Aires, Argentina,[2] and a big wedding party on 7 June 2014. The couple have a daughter, Francesca (born 19 January 2015).
