Walter's duiker (Philantomba walteri) is a species of duiker found in Togo, Benin and Nigeria. It measures under 40 cm (16 in) tall at the shoulder, and weighs between 4 and 6 kg (8.8 and 13.2 lb). It was described in 2010 following comparison of specimens in museum collections with those from bushmeat markets. Its name commemorates Professor Walter Verheyen, who was the first to obtain a specimen of this species of duiker from Togo in 1968.
