Waheed Iqbal (born 30 October 1976) is a former Pakistani cricketer who played a single first-class match for Islamabad during the 1999–2000 season. He was born in Kuwait, but played all his cricket in Pakistan.[1]
A right-handed all-rounder bowling medium pace, Waheed played at under-19 level for Islamabad during both the 1994–95 and 1995–96 seasons, and in January 1995 was part of the Islamabad team that made the final of the National Junior Cup Grade II.[2] His sole first-class appearance and only senior game for Islamabad came in November 1999, when he was selected in the side to play the Agricultural Development Bank in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy.[3] Waheed opened the batting with Naved Ahmed, the side's captain, on debut, and scored 21 runs in his only innings as the match petered out to a draw after four days.[4]
