Wanyi (also spelled Waanyi, Wanji, Waanji) is an extinct Australian Aboriginal language of the lower gulf area of Northern Queensland, Australia.
Words and phrases from this language are used by novelist Alexis Wright in her 2013 novel, The Swan Book.
