WSFQ (96.3 FM, "Hits 96") is a radio station broadcasting an adult contemporary music format. Licensed to Peshtigo, Wisconsin, USA. The station is currently owned by Radio Plus Bay Cities, LLC.[1]
History
The station was assigned the call letters WHYB on 1989-10-31. On 1992-07-15, the station changed its call sign to WJMR and then on 1996-06-07 to the current WSFQ.[2]
In January 2009 WSFQ changed from classic rock as "Rock 96" to a "best of the '70s and '80s" format as "Hits 96.3." Prior to the classic rock format, WSFQ had played oldies under the "Q96" moniker. The station has since evolved into an adult contemporary format by adding more current and recent hits into rotation.
