WLZX is a Saga Communications Active Rock radio station in Northampton, Massachusetts, broadcasting at 99.3 FM. The station has an active rock format.

History

WLZX began when the station was purchased from Clear Channel, which operated 99.3 as WHMP 99.3 FM the "Rock Alternative".[1] Lazer 99.3 went live on September 11, 2000.[2]

WLZX has a translator, W232BW 94.3 in Amherst at 200 watts which is a simulcast of WLZX's HD-2 channel, a top 40 station broadcasting Dial Global's Hits Now! format; branding themselves as the new hit music station in the Pioneer Valley.
