WIMP-CD is a class-A digital LPTV station in Miami, Florida on channel 25, owned by Sunshine Broadcasting Company, a company based in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
History
On 16 October 1990, construction permit 890310UU became W25BF. On 7 July 1997, W25BF became WIMP-LP. WIMP became a class A station on 18 September 2001 and became WIMP-CA as a result. After a flash-cut to digital TV while staying on physical TV channel 25, it became WIMP-CD in November 2009.
Previously with Home Shopping Network, WIMP-CA is now an affiliate of Elementos TV, a new Hispanic TV network from Salt Lake City, Utah.
