WBEC-FM (95.9 FM) is a radio station in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. It broadcasts hot adult contemporary music. Its transmitter is located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. From 1977-2006, the station was known as WUPE-FM. WUPE began operations in 1977 as a Top 40 station which evolved to soft adult contemporary and then oldies. After oldies the call letters and format were moved to 100.1 FM. From 1975-1977, the station was known as WGRG-FM, and programmed as progressive rock.

In August 2013, Gamma Broadcasting reached a deal to sell its Berkshire County radio stations, including WBEC-FM, to Reed Miami Holdings;[1] the sale was canceled on December 30, 2013.[2]
