Vladimir Javier Hernández Rivero (born 8 February 1989) is a Colombian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Categoría Primera A club Junior.[1] He is commonly known by his nickname, Vlacho.[2]
Early life
Born on 8 February 1989 in Arauca, Hernández moved to Barranquilla to play with Barranquilla F.C., which is supported by the lower divisions of Junior. Afterwards he was called up by then-manager Julio Avelino Comesaña to join Junior, making his senior debut for the club on 13 September 2008, in a match against Millonarios, in which Los Tiburones won 1–0.
International career
Hernández was called up for the training session of the Colombia national football team, between 14 and 18 February 2016 in Bogotá.
