Vivek Patil
Vivekanand Shankar Patil is a politician of the Peasants and Workers Party of India (शेतकरी कामगार पक्ष).[1] A three-time MLA in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from the erstwhile undivided Panvel constituency,[2] he currently represents Uran constituency which was formed after bifurcation of Panvel.[3] He founded Karnala Sports Academy in 1999. Vivek patil (PWP) defeated by Manohar Bhoir (Shiv Sena) in recent loksabha elections 2014 in Uran. Being an MLA of Uran last year, he could not sustain his position. He managed to get only 55320 votes. Former Uran MLA Vivek Patil of PWP threatened to file a public interest litigation (PIL) against the Prashant Thakur and family. [4][5][6]
