Taiwan passport

Visa requirements for Taiwan (ROC) passport holders are administrative entry restrictions by the authorities of other states placed on Taiwanese citizens who hold Household registration, and thus right of abode in Taiwan (i.e. "registered nationals") and those who do not ("unregistered nationals").[1] Registered nationals are entitled to a ROC ID Card and the number of that card is printed in the passport. Several countries and territories have more favorable visa regimes for those holding passports with this identity card number. Unregistered nationals who use a Taiwan passport to enter Taiwan require an entry permit and are subject to immigration controls. This article deals with holders of a Taiwan passport containing an identity card number.

As of Jan. 1st 2016, there are 161 countries and territories that grant visa-free or visa-on-arrival privileges to Taiwan passport holders.

    Vaccination

    Many African countries, including Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Rwanda, São Tomé and Príncipe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Zambia require all incoming passengers to have a current International Certificate of Vaccination. Some other countries require vaccination only if the passenger is coming from an infected area.[22]

    Passport validity

    Many countries require passport validity of no less than 6 months and one or two blank pages.[23]
