Visitors to Benin must obtain a visa from one of the Beninese diplomatic missions unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries.^[1]

Citizens of the following 18 countries and territories can visit Benin without a visa for 90 days:

Holders of diplomatic or official/service passports of Algeria, Brazil, Comoros, Cuba Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Gabon, Haiti, Iran, Israel, Kenya, Libya, Mauritania, Mexico, Morocco, Russia, Sao Tome and Principe, Somalia, South Korea, Sudan and Tunisia do not require a visa.
