Virgil Baer (December 5, 1912 – July 14, 1993) was an American football and basketball coach in the United States.
Coaching career
Baer was the 11th head football coach for the Kansas Wesleyan University Coyotes located in Salina, Kansas and he held that position for three seasons, from 1946 until 1948. His coaching record at Kansas Wesleyan was 12 wins, 12 losses, and 3 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2009 season, this ranks him 7th at Kansas Wesleyan in total wins and 8th at the school in winning percentage (.500).[1]
