Not to be confused with Violin Sonata, Op. 4 (Mendelssohn) or Violin Sonata in F major (1820) (Mendelssohn).
The Violin Sonata in F major, composed in 1838 by Felix Mendelssohn has three movements:
- Allegro vivace
- Adagio
- Assai vivace
A typical performance lasts about 22 minutes.
