Viktor Viktorovich Sotnikov (Russian: Виктор Викторович Сотников; born 1961) is a Russian serial killer, which operated in 2000-2011 in Lipetsk Oblast. Killed at least 8 people.[4]
Since childhood, characterized by cruelty. As a boy, he hung his dog. Constantly beating her sister and parents. Growing up, he began to sell moonshine. Two women accused him of rape, but he hushed up the matter by paying them. Later, he was constantly beaten by his mistress.[1]
In 2002, he killed the girl. Later, a series of murders committed with an accomplice. His last murder he committed in 2011. Sotnikov came into conflict with the local homeless and killed him. That is what led investigators to the murder Sotnikov. Soon, one after another began to emerge murder of girls, which he made earlier.[5]
Sotnikov was sentenced to life imprisonment. In his final statement, he apologized to the victims, his wife and said that he repents.
