The Guntur–Krishna Canal section connects Krishna Canal railway station with Guntur railway station. Further this line connects Howrah-Chennai main line, Guntur-Macherla section and Guntur-Repalle sections. It is having a length of 25.36 km (15.76 mi).[1]

History

Vijayawada–Guntur broad gauge section was opened in the year 1966.[2]
