Vettah (English: Hunt) is an upcoming Malayalam thriller film directed and co-produced by Rajesh Pillai.[3][4][5] The film stars Kunchacko Boban, Manju Warrier,[6][7] Indrajith Sukumaran,[8][9][10][11] and Sandhya[12] in lead roles. The script is written by Arunlal Ramachandran where A.V. Anoop co-produces the film. Pirincipal photography of filming has begun on October 7.[13][14]

On October 20, director Rajesh Pillai announced his next film, Vettah with Kunchacko Boban and Manju Warrier as the lead actors. Bhama, Vijayaraghavan, Prem Prakash and Deepak Parambol were considered for other roles.[4] He also added that there would be a third lead actor, who was not finalized then.[3] At first, Jayasurya was considered for this role. But later it was confirmed that the third lead would be portrayed by Indrajith Sukumaran.[8][10] And before starting the first schedule, Bhama was replaced by Sandhya.[12]

Vettah's principal photography started on October 7 at Ernakulam.[14] And the first schedule finished as of November first week. Second schedule started on December 11 at Punalur, Kollam.[17]
