VEGAS is a Greek group formed in 2008 and consists of three members: vocalists ZeRaw and Melina, and DJ Airth on the consoles.[1]

ZeRaw

ZeRaw was born in Zimbabwe. When he was 5 years old he came with his parents to Greece. He later decided to stay in Greece permanently.

Melina

Melina Makris was born and raised in Athens. From an early age she started playing music, and then studied and graduated from High School Ilion, alongside lessons in piano, voice and harmony of the National Conservatory of Music and dance lessons. She studied at the Technological Educational Institute of Traditional Music.

DJ Airth

The DJ Airth was born in Athens where he lives. He studied at the Institute Piraeus where he met ZeRaw. The ZeRaw and DJ Airth were members, renowned in the field of hip hop, complex Tang-Ram, who began his career in the musical map in 1998. OiTang-Ram to their credit they have 3 albums.

Success in Greece

They began with song "Tous Ponaei" that became a Top 20 single and made them popular in Athens. They had the top 10 hits "Irthe i stigmi", and "Mi Stamatas" that became successful both in Greece and Cyprus. The song was a top 5 hit in Greek airplay. In 2011 they had even bigger hits like the English song "Mad About You" with Tomer G that said that Vegas will have European success in the future, also they had the big hit " Mi Se Noiazei" and their no.1 hit single " Fili ". The video clip for "Fili" was the first Greek video clip that surpasses the 10 million views in YouTube. In October 2011, they released the power pop ballad "Gia Sena" that was even more successful in radio and hit no.1 also (the video clip for this song has almost 8 million views until September 2013). Gia Sena was followed by songs "Pio Psila" and "Panta Kalokairi" which became top 10 hits. "Pio Psila" is their most successful single in Greece and Cyprus. In Greece the song was no.1 in airplay for over 2 months and was top 5 for over 8 months. The video clip for "Pio Psila" is also their most successful video clip today and has over 16 million views until 2014 (only one Greek video clip has more, "Mamacita Buena" from Albanian-Greek singer and producer Claydee with 26 million views). Greek Reviewers said that the video clip for "Pio Psila" is "if not the best,one of the best Greek video clips of all time". The success of this song was so huge that it was in Greek aiplay for over 70 consecutive weeks in Greek airplay and its one of the most successful Greek singles in Greece iTunes chart history. In October 2012, they revealed their new single "Osa eixa" that became a top 5 hit. After that they released another single in May 2013, entitled " Akoma" that became a top 20 hit in Greek airplay. Akoma was filmed while they toured the east coast of the United States.
