Veeravasaram is a village located in West Godavari district. It was one of the old trade centers of British East India Company. During British regime it was a Taluq Headquarters town. Prior to the introduction of mandals, it was a part of Bhimavaram Taluq. Veeravasaram station is located on Bhimavaram–Narasapur branch line.
