Vasily Y. Golubev (1957, in Ermakovskaya, Rostov Oblast present) is the governor of Rostov Oblast of Russia since 14 June 2010.

Career and Life

He was a member of Communist Party of USSR. He became a politician in Moscow and Moscow Oblast where he even replaced a governor for several weeks. He moved to Rostov after V. Chub left his post of Oblast head and was connected to United Russia.[1] He has a wife who is a rich businesswoman.[2]
