Vannangal
Vannangal (Tamil: வண்ணங்கள்), is an annual LGBTQ performance festival in Chennai since 2009.[1] This festival is part of a larger series of events scheduled in the months of June and July as part of the Chennai Pride Month celebrations to raise the visibility LGBTQ people and issues in the city.
Vannangal was first organised by Shakti Resource Centre and Orinam in 2009 under the name Nirangal (நிறங்கள்).[2]
