Vanguard Dutch Marine Limited or VanDutch (/væn/ /ˈdʌtʃ/) is a Netherlands based yacht manufacturing company. It started commercial manufacturing in 2009 with its first model VanDutch40. The firm also provides financing facilities , customer assistance services and produces custom merchandise under its own brand name like watches, Gocycle G2[3] and other mementos.

About

VanDutch was founded in 2008. VanDutch introduced its first product line, the VanDutch 40 in 2009 and has sold more than 135 units so far. It started USA operations in 2013.[1]

In 2013 it signed an agreement with Marquis Yachts to grant exclusive manufacturing rights that was previously given to S2 Yachts.[4] Marquis filed a litigation case against VanDutch for contract term dispute in 2015 that was successfully settled very soon without disclosing the terms.[5]

VanDutch sponsored FIA Formula E Championship racing team Amlin Aguri in 2014 along with Amlin and Sparco.[6]

List of notable people known to own VanDutch yachts includes Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham, Dwyane Wade, Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Cuban, Ryan Phillippe and Simon Cowell.[7][8]

It participates regularly in yacht shows across the world including Miami International Boat Show and Monaco Yacht Show.[9][10][11][12]

VanDutch has partnership with NTK Marine[13] and Nautique Yachting.[14] It is official yacht partner for Red Bull Racing team who participate in Monaco Grand Prix at Monaco harbor.[15]

Products

VanDutch produces various yachts catering to the luxury segment. The model nomenclature is typically VanDutchXX where XX stands for the length of yacht in foot.

The VanDutch75 model is currently under construction and said to be available at around mid 2015. VanDutch40 Electric or "VanDutch E" model is the maiden electric yacht venture of VanDutch. It is partnering with Aguri Technologies to develop the world's first 100% emission free yacht. Aguri Suzuki, Ferry Spijkerman and Mark Preston will be working on the design conceptualization and development.[16]
