Veeramachineni Madhusudhan Rao (Telugu: వీరమాచనేని మధుసూదనరావు; 14 June 1923 – 11 January 2012) was an Indian film, director, producer and screenwriter, known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema, Rao has directed over 45 films, including musical hits such as Annapurna, Zamindar, Antastulu, Aradhana, Aatmiyulu, Krishnaveni and Swati Kiranam. In 1965 He has received the National Film Award for directing Antastulu.[1] Rao died on 11 January 2012 at the age of 89.[2]
