Uttar Kalas is a census town under Mograhat police station of Diamond Harbour subdivision in South 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal.[1][2]
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[3] Uttar Kalas had a population of 5437. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Uttar Kalas has an average literacy rate of 56%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 63%, and female literacy is 49%.
