The Uruguay national rugby union sevens is a minor national sevens side.

At the South American Sevens, Uruguay has won in 2012 and resulted runner-up six times. The team has resulted fourth at the 2011 and 2015 Pan American Games.

They participated in the 2014 Hong Kong Sevens in the World Series Qualifier. They qualified for the quarterfinals, finishing second in their pool, but lost out to Russia 21-14.[1] At the 2015 Hong Kong Sevens, they claimed wins over Brazil and Mexico and losses to Hong Kong and Papua New Guinea. The team did not qualify to the 2016 Hong Kong Sevens.
