Ursula Yovich

Ursula Yovich is an Australian actress and singer. She received a Helpmann Award in 2007 for her performance in Capricornia and was nominated in 2005 for her performance in The Sapphires.[1] She has appeared in more than 20 productions, including Capricornia, The Sapphires, Natural Life, Nailed, The Sunshine Club, Nathaniel Storm, and The Adventures of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie and Little Ragged Blossom[2][3][4][5] and in the films Jindabyne and Australia.[6][7] She was the subject of an episode of the SBS documentary series Blaktrax.[8] She is a member of The Black Arm Band. Her father, Slobodan Jovic, was a Serbian immigrant who anglicised his name to Stan Yovich.[9]
